Yarrawonga sheep producer Daimien Vodusek was one of Australia’s first farmers to purchase a brand new product that’s being heralded as a huge step forward in the fight against worms — and in doing so won a pair of Samsung Gear Virtual Reality (VR) Goggles.
Tridectin is the world’s only broad-spectrum combination drench with a registered claim to kill triple-resistant and monepantel-resistant worms, providing a reliable, safe and effective worming solution that guarantees healthier, more productive sheep.
On opening his pack, Mr Vodusek received an extra-special surprise.
To celebrate Tridectin’s launch, Virbac has been running a special ‘Platinum Ticket’ promotion — and Mr Vodusek was one of three lucky winners to find a platinum ticket, which were randomly placed inside the first ever batch of Tridectin.
By finding his ticket, Mr Vodusek has won a pair of Samsung Gear VR Goggles and Virbac will also be donating $500 to local charity Bright Blue, as nominated by Mr Vodusek.
Virbac Australia sheep product manager Terrance Laughlin congratulated Mr Vodusek on his win.
‘‘This has been a really fun and engaging way to mark the launch of Tridectin,’’ he said.
‘‘Well done to Daimien, who was thrilled to find a platinum ticket in his carton. We hope he’ll get just as much pleasure from using his VR Goggles as he will from seeing the benefits of this groundbreaking new formula on his animals’ health and wellbeing,’’ Mr Laughlin said.
